With a new Kingdom, came new purposes..

1 Chronicles 17:16
David's Prayer

Then King David went in and sat before the LORD, and he said: "Who am I, O LORD God, and what is my family, that you have brought me this far?....

The Remnant Fellowship church dedicated its new church a few years back. When we dedicated this beautiful building a man of God got up and read this scripture and it has stuck with me ever since. Every time I think about how God took me from a wretch of a person, a dishonest, controlling mess and gave me life, and joy and a new Kingdom to live in, I am deeply humbled and grateful. This woman did not deserve any happiness in life, she was always self serving, always trying to figure out how to get what she wanted. The fact that God took the time to show me that, to convince me of my shallow existence and then led me to this church where I get to learn over and over again - how to get out of my own way of life and how to fulfill the purposes of God...Who am I? Nobody.
This past weekend we celebrated God's Feast of Harvest in Tennessee with most of the people that make up the Remnant Fellowship. What a joy to fulfill God's word by celebrating what was commanded as a lasting ordinance some 3,000 years ago and what a joy to be with those that only want to make God happy. What a purpose - what a kingdom. I praise God for what He has established on this earth - at this time. I praise God for life, and purpose and mercy and forgiveness. Please check out remnantfellowship.net or weighdown.com to learn more of what I am referring to, I have never looked back and am grateful for every second that I get to live like this.

I have to agree - finding God's purpose was truly the treasure I was seeking. It is a joy to know that not only can we seek and find Him, but I get to do so with others that have had their hearts molded in His gentle hands.

May God richly bless your home, your work, and those around you.
